European BEST Engineering Competition - EBEC is the biggest external event organized by BEST. All engineering students are eligible to enter the competition, but only the best ones can win and progress beyond local level - almost 800 students will participate in local rounds, over 750 of them will proceed to regional or national level, and 120 will participate in the final. This year’s edition of EBEC Final will be held on August 1th - 9th in Riga, Latvia. Regional Alpe-Adria Round – EBEC Alpe-Adria is an annual event organized by local BEST groups from Erlangen, Vienna, Graz, Ljubljana, Maribor and Zagreb. It is preceded by six local qualification rounds, one in each of those cities, and is itself one of 15 regional or national competitions that delegate their winners to EBEC.
