Our new member Uroš bravely went to his first "best" adventure to Novi Sad, on the motivational weekend of the local BEST group. Part of his experiences has been summarized in the lines below.

Path and arrival

After a badly sleeping 9-hour drive, I came from Maribor to Belgrade, from where I continued with the train to Novi Sad. With each station I became less tired and with more and more expectations. Since Novi Sad is famous for its diverse culture and because it is the second largest city in Serbia, I easily recognized my last station. On this hot sunny day I was welcomed by a girl with a smiling face, we walked through the streets of Novi Sad, through the bridge of freedom, all the way to a grassy hostel where we had a motivational weekend.People accepted me with open arms and a smile on face. We presented quickly ourselves to each other, and this is how the memory game started, in which I have never bleached - "What's your name?" After a round of chess, I met more people and soon after that we started with a motivational weekend.

Theme? Teamwork.

The tutors who led the lecture divided us into three teams, where I had this immense happiness that I was surrounded by a group of five people with Serbian beauties. We got the task that we need to think about the games in half an hour. We decided that our game will be throwing paper jets. In this, the longest flight was a victory, and the person with the shortest flight had to jump on one leg and list 10 things on a topic (for example, 10 currencies or the like). When the time had expired, each team presented their game. Just as in everyday trials, where we first take the test, and only with this we gain knowledge, experience, here we have also received lectures at the end.We learned about the importance of interpersonal relationships, about ways of communication, motivation factors and priorities, and much more. So we were able to keep up to date on what we can improve in the future.

After the lecture and tasty lunch, the organizers prepared fun group games. We had to make shapes from the closed rope with closed eyes, tried to fold the tablecloth as many times as possible without getting out of it ... In the end, everyone got a piece of the image, which we had to remember and then figure out the order of the picture , through memory and words.

We entertained and socialized in finding a frisbee in bushes, playing cards, and we enjoyed sitting in the sunshine. Of course, we were also active in night hours, but I will not describe them in detail, not because I would not remember them.

Experience is not over yet
